Beautiful bikes are something that I could look at for hours. The subtle design details, the colors, handlebar, saddle etc. Some are so nicely crafted that they could be an object in your interior. It also fixes a common problem, bikes always get in the way – either in the hall, leaning up against a wall, in the kitchen and so on. That's where today's item comes into play.

Chris Brigham is a graphic designer that always wanted to do something with his hands. After visiting some friends in both New York and San Francisco Chris realized that bikes are always in the way. The Bike Shelf solves this problem and offers a new innovative way to store your bike. It's a minimalist design available in either solid Walnut or Ash.

The cold metal of the bike works great with the warmth of wood here. It's strong enough to hold your bike and anything you throw on the shelf. It's also possible to custom make it to fit your bike size. The nicest bicycle storage i've seen so far. Available for $299 from the Knife & Saw web site. Doesn't work for a ladies bike though.
