This week's item has been collecting design awards. Not only for its looks but also for its functionality. It's too beautiful to be hidden. Manufactured by Konstantin Slawinski located in Germany and designed by DING3000 PRODUCT DESIGN (Carsten Schelling, Ralf Webermann, Sven Rudolph), from Germany as well.

Too beautiful to be hidden

SL17 BASKETBIN is a waste-paper basket with a small integrated rubbish bin, which is hooked into the mounting of the larger waste-paper basket and can be easily removed for emptying. This enables intelligent and environmentally friendly waste separation directly at the workplace. Wet and sticky garbage can be put into the smaller rubbish bin. It is easy to take out so it can be carried to the nearest dump. The smaller one is dishwasher safe.

The waste-paper basket is available in white or anthracite grey and the dishwasher-proof insert in red, green, or black. Garbage separation has never been so sexy – up to now. The SL17 BASKETBIN from Konstantin Slawinski makes quite an impression and I wouldn't mind it sitting it next to me.
