The bicycle is doing very well in 2014 with many new ones finding their way to the market. Finding the right one for you can be hard though. For me personally that would be one that doesn’t stop you from going off the beaten path and with a distinguished design/look. The bicycle that we are going to see after the jump would qualify that description and is coming in the Spring of 2015.

Canyon Urban 7.0

Really cool look

Very fluid design that integrates the stem into the frame, a bit similar like you may have seen from the 795 Aerolight race bike that Look produces. Another neat thing is the integrated head light. The Canyon Urban 7.0 is a sleek bicycle with high-end parts like San Marco custom leather grips and saddle. The bike is designed to have minimal maintenance with its internal hub gears and a belt drive. The bike is also available with Shimano gears and with mudguards that can double as luggage racks when you’re carrying gear around the city.

Doesn’t stop where the roads ends

This bike isn’t just for city riding, no Sir it’s also perfectly suited for those country rides. You know those gravel/dirt tracks that you otherwise have to turn around for. That happens almost every ride for me. When plotting out a ride I really don’t have the time to check every road with the little yellow google dude, so my ‘quick’ check is if I see the blue line that the Google car has been on that road. If the answer is yes, I use that street. That’s when surprises pop-up in my ride. I’ve been on dirt roads that are really bad, and found it pretty hard core that the Google car was in there too. So for me, a light bike that doesn’t stop where the road ends sounds pretty perfect.

The Commuter 7.0 2015 costs €1799 and the Commuter 7.0 SL 2015 is yours for €1699. You can pre-order it now and it should be available in the Spring of 2015.
