Fedra Sans Display 1 and 2
2006 at 11.45 am posted by Veerle Pieters

The Fedra type family has at least 35 variations and my personal preference at the moment goes out to Fedra Sans. The Fedra Sans was was designed by Peter Bilak in 2001 to create a corporate face for the German insurance company Bayerische Rück.

Peter Bilak is a Czech-born designer working in the Netherlands. A criterion was to design a font that works equally well on screen as on paper in both small and large sizes. The Fedra Sans Display family was designed in 2005. It's the font's modern elegance that makes me like it. Fedra Sans Display 2 contains over 800 ligatures in its OpenType version.

I like the way you explain your point of view in your posts. Althought I don’t understand all the graphic language you use (not a pro in english or design) it makes me want to look further to what you said and learn more about design and web development. Two thumbs up for your blog! I’m delurking today :P

First, hat off to your wonderfull web which is in my opinion one of the
top ten from some hundreds of well designed works i’ve ever saw on the net. Just a little comment to the author of Fedra-Sans family. Peter Bilak is a Slovak-born designer, accomplished his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Bratislava, Slovakia ...
