Authentic Jobs Six: Help us celebrate by giving back!

27 Sep 2011

Regular visitors will know that Authentic Jobs has been a valuable partner in crime of this site for years. Speaking about years, it is that time to celebrate again. Authentic Jobs turns SIX and just like last year we are celebrating by giving back. Last year we all did wonders by raising an astounding $21,386. Our new goal is an ambitious one…

Authentic Jobs Six, help us raise 600,000 for Ethiopia

600,000 for charity: water

To reach this ambitious goal we will need help of the community. You can help us celebrating our 6th birthday by raising 600,000 Ethiopian birr, roughly 35,000 USD, for charity: water. The birr is the unit of currency in Ethiopia. If we all help charity: water reach this year’s goal, they’ll purchase a FS 250 drilling rig that will eventually serve 100% of Northern Ethiopia with access to clean, safe drinking water.

Parallaxified mini-site

Cameron Moll has designed this nice parallaxified mini-site as a center point of our celebration. Give the scrollbar a workout to start drilling :) The site was coded by Michael Botsko.

A good cause, but what about people that can’t afford to donate £26 but still want to donate? A £6 and £16 option should also be introduced.

Best of luck with it though!

It is in the text paragraph right above the button that you can donate whatever your budget can afford. I adjusted the button anyway so people who don’t read that paragraph get that too. Thanks!
