Yeti Sports Part 5 - FLAMINGO DRIVE

2004 at 06.07 am posted by Veerle Pieters

To keep the tradition alive and mainly because life isn’t all about work, one should have fun too so here’s part 5. The cool thing about these games is that they also run on the newest mobile phones such as Sony Ericsson T610 T630, Z600, P800 and P900. As I get it these are free but you have to download them to your phone. More info about other supported models here. Ideal for those death moments waiting at the airport.

PART 5 FLAMINGO DRIVE
I know I’m not as fast as usual but the reason was that the Yeti server was so overloaded when it just was out that I didn’t post about it until now. It seems that more bandwidth is available so here we go. The world tour continues and lands in Africa. According to the graphic designer in me this is the best looking one so far. The action script must be huge in such a Flash game. Wonderfully programmed. I have to dig into some action script books that are lying around here to brush up my skills which are pretty basic.

You see elephants, giraffes and snakes. Use those snakes to your advantage because they catapult you back in the air. Much harder now to get very far because of all those obstacles. If you’re like me and get stuck in the giraffes’ mouth don’t worry you’ll soon be back in open air :o) There are more surprises in there. My best score so far is 1751 btw. Start playing now. To be clear the online game is free.

Update: thanks to Johann we now know that they aren’t free, you have to buy codes.

Actually, the games are not free. You have to buy codes in their shop. 5 codes are about 10€. There are other packages as well.

Too sad!
