Validator for CSS

2004 at 05.00 pm posted by Veerle Pieters

When I had to search for something on Google I came across a pretty extensive validator for CSS. This validator has a lot of features like checking against browsers such as Internet Explorer for PC and Mac and Netscape 6 and Opera. The only browsers that I didn’t find on the list are Safari, FireFox and Mozilla.

This validator can also show some tips and suggestions. Maybe you’ve already discovered this one but I thought it was worth it to make a post about it. I had to check my stylesheet with FireFox because it didn’t work with Safari 1.2.1 on Panther. This can be handy.

I like it. :)

It seems to do a good job validating (didn’t find any errors in documents that I know didn’t have errors), and gave some decent tips, too. The validation per browser is a great feature, too. Too bad it doesn’t have it for the alternative browsers. :|

Excellent resource, Veerle!

I always drop by and visit your blog, for such informative resources. Hmmm… sometimes, I even consider your blog to be an e-zine for CSS and web designing.

Now, if there was something similar for XHTML I would be all set. I can fix my site for a couple of days now, because I am simply stumped by W3C XHTML validator explanations or lack of their of. Great link!
