Spring is in the air

Today in Belgium Spring has arrived. It’s official: this day will be marked in history as the first gorgeous day of 2004. Yes we had some sun already but never this warm. Today temperatures will climb to around 18 or 20° Celsius. Kind of remarkable for this time of year and even better then the weather on my favorite Balearic island Ibiza.
You know sometimes when it’s gray in Belgium I use the Konfabulator weather widget to show how it is on Ibiza. This way I can do some day dreaming ;-) Blue skies and sun can be a great motivator.
Our Director guru at Duoh! is taking a break in Luxor Egypt and as you see above he is even better off with those great prospects. GRRR! All this lends me to one conclusion: I’m in a desperate need for some vitamin D :-) Can’t wait for summer to arrive and maybe it will be as record breaking as the one of 2003. I remember clearly that we enjoyed superb weather all the way from May until early October. As always good things come to an end and tomorrow its back to rain. So a summer like last year gets my vote!

@Slater: Minor mistake, thanks for pointing it out! Konfabulator is coming for PC btw, I’ve heard that there will be a beta soon.

I’ll vote for a nice summer instantly ;)
Lot’s of people coming outside for their lunchbreak (centre of Ghent was really crowded :))
And being able to have lunch in the park with this weather is amazing.
