Snow provides inspiration…
2005 at 08.13 am posted by Veerle Pieters
Yesterday we had our first ‘real’ snow of this Winter. Obviously not as much as Dan from Simplebits, but still enough to take a little break from the computer. Only a few minutes away and yet a completely different surrounding, great for uploading the batteries of creativity. Hope you’ll enjoy my Flickr Winter gallery.

Looks like a nice place to visit, but not live. I’m glad it provides inspiration for you :)
I was raised in California, so naturally, I enjoy the sun.
Btw, who’s footprint was in the snow near the back of the gallery?

we still don’t have any snow in this winter, last time we’ve got “good” snow was in the autumn (November 23) I only can take several pictures in my lunch break, here is one of those

That’s a real snow??? You’ve got to drop by New England! I just spent the morning skiing Jiminy Peak, with 6 inches of new powdery snow on top of the 15 inches they got over the weekend.
Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain next week… I’ll send you a box of Adirondack snow if you like!

Pretty pictures and that snow is bearable. What is not is the blizzard in New England. We got something similar on the days leading to Christmas and so I had to take pictures so that I could post them on my gallery on my site.Boy, give me the snow that you get anyday. I dont need 20-30 inches of snow. It just ruins my day.

@Dustin, it’s my boyfriend’s footprint.
@winitou, thanks for sharing your pictures, they are very nice.
@dave, well it is Belgium not Switzerland, besides the more snow the more ‘trouble’. Snow is fun for skiing OK, but if you have to go to a meeting it’s a whole different ball-game :-)
