If you want to catch up and read something interesting about Steve Jobs and all the history behind his career then you must read this cool article by JOHN MARKOFF.
It’s a very good read that goes into what has been happening at Apple lately and what the future may bring. There is talk about the iPod surpassing the sales of computers for the first time. 807.000 iPods and 749.000 Macs are sold last quarter.
Interesting to know is that Steve Jobs will hold a conference call today to celebrate the first birthday of the iTunes Music Store. Maybe something new will be unveiled. Who knows. I will keep you informed about this event ;-)
You can read the story in the New York Times. It’s a free registration.
Update: since this morning (5 minutes ago) iTunes 4.5 is available for Mac and Windows. New possibilites are downloads/single of the week, iMix (to publish your playlists), a music video page, movie trailers from iTunes, radio charts and party shuffle (dynamic playlists), cd cover printing, wish lists and importing Windows Media files. You can download it here.

This is vaguely on topic, but I thought I’d share it for any readers who hate registering for news sites (even if its free).
http://bugmenot.com has free, preregistered logins available for many many sites. I use the bookmarklet all the time.
