Steve Jobs announced in his “trademark” way… “Oh one more thing! People thought they would never add it until hell froze over”. He said “this has happened. Yes, it’s iTunes for Windows XP and Windows 2000” :-) To say it in his words “iTunes for Windows is the best Windows app ever written, the best jukebox on Windows"…
I have tried other players on PC and none of them were as easy to use as iTunes on my Mac. And now Windows users can enjoy this great app too because it is exact the same program with the all the same features. Even the interface is Mac-like. Microsoft won’t let you burn MP3 CDs, unless you buy a Windows XP upgrade pack. But now with iTunes you can. It can even burn DVDs on Windows with extra large playlists.
Microsoft won’t let you share among computers, with iTunes you can. And you can even listen to each others music on the same network thanks to Apple’s Rendez-Vous technology. I use this every day and this is great. I just browse my colleagues music at work and listen to it if I want. People who live in the U.S. can now also buy music online through iTunes and the iTunes Music Store with just one click, and from now on it’s for both Mac and Window users. The best thing is it is FREE!! :-)) So if you are a Windows user go download it now and try it out because you don’t know what you have been missing until you try it. It is fully compatible with iPod, the world’s best MP3 player. They also announced some new cool iPod accessories.
Apple has an exclusive deal with America Online. They will distribute iTunes for Windows to their 25 million clients. Even AOL people without a credit card will also be able to buy songs just by signing in with their AOL login and password.
To end this great news, on top of all that Apple and Pepsi Cola have come the ingenious promotion to give away 100 million free songs! It works though the bottles you buy, there will be 300 million of them. Your chance to win a song is 1 on 3. The winning bottles contain a code that gives you the right to download 1 song from iTunes Music Store. So I wonder will all this fail? I don’t think so ;-) The analysts don’t know squad! :-P
