I fell in love with this island 15 years ago because of its nice sunsets, open mind, the nice hippie markets and of course for the nice clubs and bars ;-) Back then some clubs were in open air, like the biggest club on the island ”Ku”, now called Privilege was partially in open air. These were glory times!

There were these drag queens dancing on different levels, around the swimming pool there was a fashion show going on etc. lot’s of “extra vaganza” almost more then now. House and dance music wasn’t even “born” yet and new beat was just in its early stage. Café del Mar was steadily growing in popularity as the best sunset bar of the island with the best chill-out music…

Today you still have this exceptional atmosphere of the island that can’t be compared with any other place. If it’s nightlife you’re after, you’ve got to go to Ibiza. You get the best clubs and DJs in the world and you’ll find a cosmopolitan mix of clubbers and holiday makers bent on having it; and then throw in some stars, celebrities and models for good measure; and what do you get? You get the summer party capital of the world… Unfortunately the Summer season is over there. Last week were the last closing parties, so we’ll have to wait for next Summer. Or maybe you want to go off-season clubbing? The only clubs open are Pacha at Friday evenings and El Divino at Saturday evenings.
