How low can you go?

I guess pretty low when looking at this blatant rip-off of Apple's iPod. A company called Nextway has released a MP3 player called D cube NHD-150D.
Dull name isn't it? Hold on THEY implemented 1 feature that the iPod hasn't, an FM radio wow! Pretty sure that somebody at Cupertino will send them a friendly letter. Apple must be the most copied company in history! Shame on you Nextway!

Everyone seems to be doing it these days; Dell, HP, Gateway, Toshiba, Samsung, and a few others have all tried to copy the iPod. It is iPod all the way for me though.

Yes, I know that everybody wants to ride the MP3 player wave but at least HP did it the right way and took a license to use it, that way Apple gets paid for it. Most others try something different (ugly?) but this one is, well the picture says it all. Only the material they used looks much cheaper. An iPod is high on my wish list too, but then again a few other stuff also ;-)

That’s true, this one does look like a cheap rip off of an iPod, unlike the less attractive others. This will probably land them in hot water with Apple.

I realise I’m a little late on this one but
I just wanted to add that I bought one of these beasties and it just goes to show you can’t tell what a device is like from an image ...
1. it’s smaller than an iPod
2. it’s smaller than a mini iPod
3. it actually looks very little like an iPod in the flesh
4. it’s cheaper than an iPod
5. it has more than one feature an iPod doesn’t - it has Ogg Vorbis support. So, even though it’s only 1.5GB, I can fit 30 albums on there. Oh, you can also record from Line-in.
