Normally I wouldn’t even make a post of this but I thought why not, I feel happy, today is my birthday ;-) For those who wonder how old I am… right in the middle between 30 and 40. Time really flies I’m 35 already! Must sound old to some of you but I can assure you it doesn’t feel that way ;-)

Just for the fun, we did a little music quiz to see if my memory doesn’t give its first symptoms of degradation ... We surfed to the iTMS and dig up some nice oldies from under the dust, oldies from my teenage time, in other words cool 80’s music. Well I must say we had a good laugh since now and then I was totally confused and was mixing up some names. Mostly I could come up with the name of the band but I couldn’t remember the song until I heard I chorus. A lot of ABC, Wham, Duran Duran, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Tears for Fears, Kool and The Gang, Lionel Richie, Billy Idol, Pointer Sisters… later I came to the conclusion that I should do this exercise more often ;-)

I sure don’t feel like 35 and lucky for me people’s estimations are always very wrong ... in the good sense that is ;-) I guess you are as old as you feel you are. Compared to almost all of my friends of this age, they’re all married, have children, mortgage on a house (typical Belgian thing BTW, they say Belgians are born with a brick in their stomach) etc. Me on the other hand, not married but have a friend, although we are “like” married, we’re together for 12 years now so that seems like being married. But we have no children and aren’t planning to have any. My company and my work is my passion. I never dreamed that could make a living of my hobby.

I still go out from time to time, so not much, but if I do I mostly don’t see my bed or maybe for an hour are 2. Next event will be 10 Days Off in Ghent (Belgium, Friday July 16th). We’ll go with some friends. I want to say hi to my friend Roger Sanchez who I met in person last year and is in my opinion the most amazing “down to earth” celebrity out there. I have really big respect for that man.  Since I’m a fan, I hope to see him in person again at Pacha Ibiza during my visit on the world’s coolest island. Can’t wait!
