Every day above ground is a good one

Yesterday I watched the last episode of the 2nd season of Six Feet Under here in Belgium. Six Feet Under must be one of the most refreshing TV series I’ve seen in a while. My personal feeling is that season two was even better then the first one. What makes me love this show is that it is amazingly close to real life. From the intro movie you notice the originality and quality.

Six Feet UnderI especially like the way the characters are refined. And of course the weird humor through out the series is so original. Especially the day dream scenes are funny, like the fragment where Claire is dancing like it’s Flash-dance and where she falls and her leg breaks off because it sticked on the floor. Crazy humor, I love it! There are also a lot of touching moments. They make me realize that we have to be grateful to be alive and well. Just like the title says, every day above ground is a good one ;-)

For those who aren’t familiar with Six Feet Under it is the story about a family running a funeral home in the glamour and glitz of Pasadena, California. Six Feet Under was created by Alan Ball, the writer of the Oscar winning Best Picture American Beauty.

Six Feet Under - Season 4

Lucky USA fellows, you get to see season 4 already starting on June 13th.

I’ll sure miss the adventures of the dysfunctional Fishers.

You might also like BBC’s The Office

It’s a comedy serie that feels like a documentary. Here in the Netherlands it airs on Ned 3.

Wouter, oh yes I know The Office it’s simply hilarious! :-) I’ve seen some episodes on Canvas (Belgian TV). It’s mostly late in the evening right on the moment when I decide to go to sleep… but the humor makes me want to look till the end.

If you are familiar with Bittorent, you can easily download the new episodes online - usually right after they were showed in the US :)
So June 13 is definitely marked in my agenda - SFU must be one of the best tv-series *ever* ...
