In the past I’ve written some articles to show my disappointment in the fact that the iTunes Music store wasn’t available in Belgium. It took way too long so I waited impatiently to enjoy the simplicity of buying.

It has been a while since I did another peek in my cd collection. Yes still using those since we are still waiting for a Belgium iTunes Music Store. Apple says October will bring another launch of new Music stores so let’s keep our fingers crossed that Belgium is on the list.

This sounds very interesting and I think this idea has great potential since most bloggers already link to iTunes or Amazon anyway. This iTunes Affiliation Scheme will make it possible to earn a little money by showing your musical taste to your readers. Personally I find those music links interesting because it’s a great way to discover otherwise unknown music. It’s not all intrusive or annoying, at least not to me.

The company (Portal Player) that produces the chip that drives the Apple’s iPod is getting ready to be featured on the Stock Exchange. The main reason for this is that they are hoping to raise $75 Million for future investments. So why is this interesting you ask? Well, to be featured on the Stock Exchange they need to file all kind of documents about the company and that’s where it gets interesting.

Wow, now I discovered something interesting on the Jaguar X Type website. Certainly worth sharing with my loyal readers :-) On this site you can download some quality MP3 songs for free. The free songs are from ”Kaskade”, ”Zero 7” and DB & Stakka.

Everyday several Belgian people come from Google because they are searching for a release date for the iPod Mini in Belgium. Giving the amount of interest it’s safe to say that it will be a success. Now I can help those people by telling them that the release date for Europe, so Belgium also is July 24th.

In what could have been me in Gurus vs Bloggers 2 (just kidding) it’s time for a rematch in the “Clash of the bikini’s”. The last few days have been rather cold here in Belgium so high time to heat things up a little. Hold on boys, we’ve got some pretty good action going on here but be warned some scenes may be unsuitable for sensitive people ;-)

Every now an then an amazing program pops-up and surprises me. Volume Logic is such an app. It’s a plug-in for iTunes to be exact. So we’re talking about an audio plug-in that makes real-time digital re-mastering a reality for all iTunes audio so even streaming music from an online radio. I have the Apple Pro speakers with an iSub and the results are amazing.

Apple just announced in London the immediate availability of the iTunes Music Store in Europe. Well sort of because for starters it is only available right now in the UK, France and Germany. It was to be expected that Belgium would not be included.

According to the French Macplus website our patience may be rewarded. If this report is accurate we could see the iTunes Music Store go live as soon as June. The European store is currently undergoing a live testing phase. As it looks now the store is scheduled to open in mid-June but could see delays until no later than September. A delay beyond June would somehow be attributed to the launch of 4 competitive online European music services, which are set to open in October.
