It has been a wile since I last posted a game. With the weekend fast approaching the ideal time-killer. Looks like I am starting to specialize in those Yeti games ;-)

The first installment was Penguin Throw and was great fun, the second one Orca Slap was not bad but not as much fun as the original. You guessed it, here is part III: Seal Bounce! You have to throw the penguin in the sky and aim it so that with a bit of luck the seals make it fly even higher. Its simplicity and humorous approach make it a hit. In case you’re wondering my best throw was 299.61 and my overall score was 1205.6. Do tell if your hand-eye coordination is any better ;-)

I came across another amazingly good looking game. When you check it out you would expect that it was made in Macromedia Director with its 3D engine but it’s not, it’s in Flash! You take place behind the wheel in some sort of a buggy and have to drive on all kinds of different grounds.

If you’re a fan of Flash you’ll find this game mind blowingly cool ;-)

Phew, still a bit tired from new years eve but awake enough to wish all my readers the very best for 2004. Another year with big plans and one of them is making this blog no longer an iBlog. I am hard at work and finishing the work of the new blog which will make my life much easier in updating this.

Too early for work so why not play our company’s Winter game “Bumping penguins”. You are a penguin and you have to bump off your fellow penguins from the ice-cap. But watch out they throw fish at you and to make matters worse there is also a strong Pole wind! Play now!

Six British schoolboys were rushed to the hospital after taking the erection-enhancing drug Viagra at lunchtime for a dare, the school said Thursday. Paramedics were called after a fellow student told teachers about the 13-year-olds’ prank, a spokesperson for Forest School in Winnersh, in southern England, said.

The local education authority said they think the student took the pills from home and brought them to the all-boys school where he shared them with five friends. The school has a no drugs policy and the students likely will face punishment, especially the student who brought the pills into school, the education authority said.

The Sun newspaper quoted a source at the school as saying: “By the time the afternoon lessons began, there was no hiding what they had done.” Paramedics took the six squirming boys to the nearby Royal Berkshire Hospital, where they were monitored until the effects wore off. The effects of Viagra are typically felt for up to 4 hours, according to viagra.com.

Didn’t you play with those famous LEGO bricks when you where a kid? I did, I was really fond of these toys. I could spent hours building all sorts of stuff. Well, for the fans among us, you can now find out how they are made ...

Take an interactive tour of a typical LEGO factory and learn how LEGO bricks begin the long journey that ends up under your couch ;-) I really like the pixel look they gave this interactive site. It’s also very suitable for this product. The concept of this is so cool by mixing pixel drawings with real pictures/movies. As a designer (and webdesigner) I must say, “a job well done!”. It is far from boring to get to know the rather boring part behind LEGO, it’s fun to click, explore and see the entire process. Really COOL :-)
