Monica Calvo is a 30 year old illustration talent from Madrid, Spain. This girl is like a chameleon, adapting to many styles...
Her sensitive simplicity and the smooth curvy lines are very feminine it leans toward perfection. I especially love the use of the soft pastel colors and details to the shadows. I want to be in the illustrations, so inviting because you want to know what they are thinking.
Which techniques do you use? I do most of my work on the computer, using both vector and bitmap illustration.
- What inspires you? Nothing in special, but everything in global. Everything that I see can inspire me. Although I get most creative when I'm almost sleeping (^_^)

That’s true. When I’m brainstorming for ideas, nothing came out. Then it’s too late and time for bed. While laying down on my little bed, beautiful images and music flows to my mind…...how revenging!
